Nenga-jou New Year Card Project

First Writing for New Year ---- お正月（おしょうがつ）

In traditional Japanese culture, the first time you do something is very important.  Today is our first time writing Japanese for the year 2020.  Write the following, very carefully and clearly and colorfully and beautifully on the blank side of the 4” by 6” card, add an appropriate image.　This will be a graded assignment.  Deadline January 10^th.

Shinnen  akemashite  omedetou gozaimasu.

The New Year brightens and it is auspicious.

令和2年　です。Reiwa ni nen  desu.

It is the 2nd year of Reiwa.

🐁子年です。Nezumi-doshi  desu.

It is the Year of the Mouse/rat.

If you want an even higher grade, add the following:

去年お世話になりました。Kyonen o-sewa ni narimashita.　

You cared for me last year.

今年　も　よろしく　お願い　します。

                              Kotoshi mo yoroshiku onegai shimasu.　

This year, too, be good to me, I beg of you.
