日本語で書く。　

Write each of the short phrases below in 漢字 kanji and hiragana.  Then write each phrase again.  Use the plain present forms of verbs, affirmative (dictionary form) and  plain negative.   Use Nakama Ch. 6 and 7 kanji sheets, if necessary, but try to write them from memory.   Kanji test on Thursday.

The newspaper was white and black.

The student's liked colors were red and blue.

時々　猫　と　犬　は　緑　の　やさい　を　食べなかった。

 Sometimes the cat and dog did not eat the green vegetables.

おいしい　お茶　は　黄色く　なかった。

The delicious green tea was not yellow.

忙しい　高校　の　先生　は　色々な　漢字　を　たくさん　書いた。

The busy high school teacher wrote a lot of various kanji.

一番　きれいな　人々　は　ムービースター　じゃ　なかった。

The prettiest people were not movie stars.

すしバー　の　お醤油（しょうゆSoy sauce）の　なまえ　は　「紫」　だった。

The name of the sushi bar's soy sauce was "murasaki."
