Forty-two copies of this 2-page handout will be needed.  Students are to read the story below and then (on a separate piece of paper) write 6 multiple-choice questions based on the story, with 5 possible answers to each question, only one of which is correct.  Students should hand in their work at the end of the period.

There is a visually-impaired student who will need to have this handout enlarged dramatically.  The aide who comes to class with him is Mr. Kelly.

きのう　は　うさぎ　の　たんじょうび　でした。

パーティ　は　うさぎ　の　うち　に　ありました。

７時　に　うさぎ　の　ともだち　が　来ました。　なまえ　は　ゴジラ　と　ハローキティ　でした。

食べもの　は　ホットドッグ　と　あおい　ケーキ　と　ピンク　の　アイスクリーム　でした。

飲みもの　は　オレンジジュース　と　コーヒー　でした。

うさぎ　の　りょうしん　（Ｐａｒｅｎｔｓ）は　ケーキ　を　つくりました。

ケーキ　は　おいしかった　です。

うさぎ　と　ともだち　は　「ふるさと」の　うた　を　うたいました。

おかあさん　と　おとうさん　は　うた　を　聞きました  （ききました）。

たのしかった　です。

みな　は　シーディー　の　えいが　を　見ました（みました）。

シーディー　は　「となり　の　トトロ」　でした。

えいが　は　おもしろかった　です。

うさぎ　と　ともだち　は　ビデオゲーム　を　しました。

むずかしかった　です　か。　いいえ、むずかしくありませんでした。

９時半　に　うさぎ　の　ともだち　は　帰りました。

１０時２０分　に　うさぎ　は　ねました。
