Before the warm-up, below, students worked on the Nakama Chapter 6  kanji-writing pre-test and posted it.  All students will receive credit, but will not be graded, since students haven't been taught these kanji yet.  At the end of the semester there will be a graded test showing how students have learned these kanji.

Homework for "over the weekend" will be to start learning the vocabulary for Nakama Chapter 6, the elist for which I posted again today. I suggest making flash cards, with the Japanese word on one side and the English translation on the other. Then you can practice going from Japanese to English and from English to Japanese. Tthree by five cards work well. The process of making the cards, even before you practice with them, helps you internalize them.
