Review for Japanese 6 Final Exam

Besides 漢字, what would you specifically like to review before the scantron final?

Past tenses (plain, negative)                                 old vocab, Ch. 12 vocab., general..

“You’d better” vs. “how about doing” vs “It’s good/OK to…”you/I may”

“I want” specific objects vs. “wanting to do” something

Verb conjugations, including the potential form, plain forms, all past tense

Do you worry about particular aspects of grammar or vocabulary in Japanese 6?

Words that are similar and how to distinguish them

Talking about what another person wants

The potential form

The upcoming final dialogue assignment

Memorizing grammatical phrases/patterns

Then students read the following article:

Some people disagree with these rankings.   どう思いますか　Write a paragraph explaining your opinion on a separate piece of paper and hand it in.

An application to volunteer at the Japan Festival in Millennium Park on June 16th was handed out to students.  Three of them filled it out and handed it in.
