ーーことがある
The past tense short form of a verb +　ことがある　describes that you had the experience of doing something, that something happened, in earlier times.
Examples:
ヨーロッパ　に　行った　ことがかります　か。
Have you ever been to Europe?
はい、行った　ことがあります。
Yes, I have gone (to Europe).
たけしさん　は　授業（じゅぎょう）　を　休んだ　ことがありません。
Takeshi has never been absent from classes (in his life)。



有名人（ゆうめいじん）に　会った　ことがあります　か。Have you ever met a famous person?
