ディズニーワルド　の　後　で、たぬき　は　うみ　に　行った。
After Disney World, the tanuki went to the sea.

およいだり,　すな(sand)　の　きょう会　を　作ったり,　しました。
He did things like swimming and making sand churches.

フロリダ州　だった　から　お天気　が　あたたかった。
It was the state of Florida, so the weather was warm.

大きい魚　に　会ったこと　が　なかった（ありませんでした）。
He didn't have the experience of meeting a large fish.

でも　大きい　わに(alligator/crocodile)　や　かに(crab)　を　見た。
However, he saw a large alligator and a crab.


NOTE:     The plain negative of  あります・ある  is irregular.

あります　　　ある　　　　ない（NOT あらない）
　　　　　　　あった　　　なかった
