Together the class went over the homework assignment, section A on page 294 Nakama.  The subject was the use of verb-stem plus ni when indicating traveling somewhere in order to do something.

Example sentences:


学校　に　友達　に　会い　に　来ます。
[I] come to school to meet friends.

としょかん　に　てがみ　を　書き　に　行きました。
[I] went to the library to write a letter.


（うち　に）　テレビ　を　見　に　帰ります。
[I] will go home to watch TV.


Students received a handout to practice this form further -- pp. 123-4 of the Nakama Workbook.
