Then write 5 pairs of sentences about what 5 different groups eat and drink at Thanksgiving (aside from and in addition to turkey 七面鳥  しちめんちょう)。Let’s practice katakana!  (Chart is in Nakama)

Example:  ドイツ人　は　ブラットワースト　や　ハム　を　食べます。そして　ビール　を　飲みます。

(When you want to use 2 [or more] verbs in a sentence,  use theて te form to indicate "and" between the verbs.)

着る　きる　きます　きて　います　　Wears, is wearing (above the waist of whole body)

履く　はく　はきます　はいて　います　　Wears, is wearing (below the waist)

被る　かぶる　かぶります　かぶって　います　　Wears, is wearing (on the head)

掛ける　かける　かけます　かけて　います　Wears/puts on glasses

する　します　して　います　Wears, is wearing (accessories like jewelry, necktie, belt, etc.)
