えい語で何ですか。

This is another little story.

きのう は   たいへん  でした。 Yesterday was terrible.

めざまし（alarm）とけい 　は　わるかった　です   から  ピンガ は  おきませんでした。  

The alarm clock was bad, so Pinga didn't get up.

むずかしかった   です  から   ピンガ  は しゅくだい   を  しませんでした。  

Because it was difficult, Pinga didn't do the homework.

しませんでした  から、 ピンガ  は   レッスン  が   わかりませんでした。 

She didn't do it, therefore she didn't understand the lesson.

でも、先生  は  やさしかった   です。 

However, Sensei was kind.

「ピンガさん、だいじょうぶ  です]」 といいました。(she said)

"Pinga, it's all right," she said.

「きのう  しませんでした  から    きょう    して 下さい」  と いいました。   

"You didn't do it yesterday, so please do the homework today," she said.

ピンガ  は  うれしかった  です。 

Pinga was happy.

もう   一度(いちど) ピンガ   は  しゅくだい  を  だしました  (took out)。

Pinga took out the homework one more time.

しゅくだい    を finish  しました  から   よかった   です。   

She finished the homework, so it was good.

Generally speaking, students seemed to find this difficult, so we will work some more on this grammatical point.

The class went over the homework from the day before.
