Kinou nemashita. きのう 寝ました。
Kinou sunahama ni ikimashita. きのう すなはま に 行きました。
Kinou watashi wa oyogimashita. きのう 私 は およぎました。
During opening choral speaking, class practiced the following numbers:
Indigenous numbers:
Numbers of people, 1-10 ひとり、ふたり、さんにん Etc.
Ages of people 10-20 じゅっさい、じゅうよんさい、はたち
Days of the month: 1-10, 14, 20, 24 ついたち、ふつか、みっか、よっか、いつか、むいか、なのか、ようか、ここなか、とうか、じゅうよっか、はつか、にじゅうよっか
Students had some difficulty with yesterday's handout.
On the board:
Relational particle で
1.”Using" or "By means of"
a. indicating a means of transport or vehicle, with a traveling verb (行きます、きます、かえります、Etc.)
b. indicating a tool by which something is done, in a sentence with an active verb like 食べます
c. indicating a language 日本語で いって 下さい。Please say it in Japanese.
2.Indicating a place where an active verb happens
きっさてん で コーヒー を 飲みました。
(I) drank coffee at the restaurant.
りょうしん は としょかん で 本 を 読みました。
(My) parents (did) books at the library.

2. Write the following sentences in Japanese.
A. Sensei ate dinner with fork and knife.
B. I didn't speak in Japanese.
