Students asked questions about the vocabulary, and after most of them were finished, we talked through this little story about a penguin named Pingu. Then some of them were able to repeat part of the story without looking at their papers, and one student, impressively, recited most of it from memory.
There was also a short discussion of this coming summer's exchange trip to Japan.
宿題 しゅくだい Homework
Add to the Pingu the penguin story by writing 5 more sentences in Japanese about his daily activities.
