****Attention:
     Scantron-and-writing portion of the final will be on May 21st and 22nd, during regular class periods.  Seniors and under-classmen will all take those portions of the final on those days in the Japanese language classroom, room 386.
     Official Exam day for 7th period will be Wednesday May 27th, at 10:15   Oral performance
  Official Exam day for 8th period will be Thursday, May 28th at 10:15  Oral performance

Song project –

            Japan has a huge music industry, and almost everyone in Japanese schools takes music class.
            For the oral portion on the exam day, you must bring a Japanese song, in Japanese, that you have chosen. You must sing at least 2 verses in Japanese, supplying Sensei with a typewritten page listing the internet or print source and the lyrics, in both Japanese and English (Googling “Japanese songs with lyrics and English translation” may help you).  You should plan on singing for at least 90 seconds.  If two of you decide to sing together, you must then sing two songs, at least 3 minutes.  You must also tell us why you like your song and why you chose it. Songs from Miyazaki Hayao films  (Tonari no Totoro, Kiki’s Delivery Service, etc.) are acceptable.
