“And” Verb て　 form + verb      may indicate chronological

                                                                sequence, and sometimes can

                                                                imply, but does not explicitly

                                                                state, causation

　　　たとえば：　私は今つかれて[いて]、すぐ寝ます。

　　　　　　　　　I’m tired now and I will go to bed/sleep soon.

“So” Verb plain form ので + verb       informal , weak causation

　　　たとえば：昼休みなので、昼ごはんを食べる。

　　　　　　　　It’s lunchbreak, so I’ll eat.

“Therefore”  Verb  plain form kara   + verb      

                                        formal, strong causation

　　　たとえば：

      明日はテストがあるから、先生は二番のえんぴつ　

     を　買います

        There will be a test tomorrow;

　　　　therefore Sensei will buy Number 2　pencils.
