Read the paragraph on page 270 about the local supermarket and then answer the questions in Exercise A on page 271.  Be sure to write complete Japanese sentences.

Look at the following short sentences.  Write them 日本語で , paying attention to the correct ways to combine verbs and adjectives and the uses of the te form. Write the　漢字 for underlined words.

The black cat and the yellow dog got up and went to the high school.

Students, please look at the red and white flowers.

Christmas colors are red and green.

May I go to drink tea at the blue restaurant?  (--ても　いい　です　か。）

Students are busy, but they are writing a lot of kanji with (by means of) black pens.

Among (kinds of) music, is jazz the most enjoyable music?
