Using the special
grid paper, create a katakana word-search like the hiragana word search you
worked on last Friday. Use six katakana
words (writing them under the puzzle you create) and incorporate them into the
puzzle. Be careful about small tsu and
small ya, yu, yo characters. Hand in at
the end of the period.

Imagine that you are visiting the home of a
friend who likes pets. Write 4 sentences
(in continuative/progressive tense, that is, -て・で・います・いません
-te imasu/imasen) about what the 猫cat is doing, and
5 different sentences about what the 犬dog is doing.
Examples:
猫はクリームを飲んでいます。The cat is drinking the cream.
犬はテレビを見ています。The
dog is watching TV.
