高い：　“Tall” or “high”, but also “expensive”

 かぜ　を　ひいて　います：”has caught a cold” rather than “is catching a cold”

しんで　います：”has died” rather than “is dying”

すんで　います：”resides” or “lives in”   must use continuative/progressive form

 びょうき｛な｝：”sick” or “sickness”
