The newspaper article tells us that the "kanji of the year" for 2020 has been chosen, and it's "mitsu" 密　, which has been used by the Japanese government and by the media to emphasize that people must be careful during the pandemic.

There are ３ ways-to-be-careful, 三密　ーー　えい語で "the 3 Cs" -- by avoiding confined spaces, crowds, and close contact.

 　C. 　How to talk about things that are BEST (in other words, favorites)  or MOST or  WORST.    This is known as “the superlative” in English grammar.          いち　ばん　（Number １） 一番

 

Examples：　(You have to specify a category)

おんがく　の　なか　で、私　は　ジャズ　が　いちばん　すき　です。Among (kinds of) music, I like jazz the most/jazz is my favorite.

 

スポーツ　の　なか　で　おとうさん　は　からて　が　いちばん　きらい　です。Among sports, Father hates karate the most/worst.

 

Using vocabulary you already know, tell us what things you like the most and hate the worst.
