Calendar (traditional) in Japan 2023.01.13

Sub plans for Kimmel’s Japanese 4 class        Jan. 13, 2023     Friday

Room 4163 – 3rd period

Thank you for taking my class today!

There are two handouts  (15 copies each)  in the red sub folder, labeled with my name, on the teacher desk in room j4163.

Students should complete the single page/double-sided handout first – writing new kanji characters and reading/translating them in context.  The source is Japanese for Secondary Students: Kanji Workbook, pages 39 and 40

Please collect this sheet.

Then hand out the packet/reading about the Japanese calendar.  After reading it, students should write (on a SEPARATE SHEET OF PAPER) 6 things that they found surprising/weird/hard-to-understand, etc., about the reading.  The source is Wikipedia.
