Visiting students from Noshiro Shoyo High School gave presentations in lecture room 370.

1. 4 character kanji compounds related to the philosophy of the tea ceremony, which is so important in Japanese culture:
              和敬静寂 わ けい せい じゃく
                                                                harmony, respect, quietness, firmness
              一期一会 いち ご いち え
                                                                 each meeting, each moment, is unique
2. Food lesson:  soba and kiritanpo (Akita regional dish containing chicken)
3. Questions about politeness, using pictures: eating with chopsticks, elbows off the table, etc.
4. Aisatsu formal expressions and school life
5. J-Pop: Karii Pamyupamyu, Arashi, BabyMetal
6. Cuteness/lovableness -- Kawaii-ness
7. Yu-kyara  a contraction for ゆるいキャラクター:  "mascots" and identifying cute images
       Examples:  pear character, Akita cedar tree character, Hyogo samurai character

For 8th period only, the Noshiro group sang their school song,
and OPRF students sang the Star Spangled Banner, as well as Dango-san Kyoudai and Furusato
