A. “Likes to do” grammar pattern　　　ワームアップ

     Plain/dictionary form of verb ＋　の　が　すき　です。

      日本語　で　書きます。

① ． I like to swim.

②       Friend likes to sing.

③        Boy likes to play

④        Student likes to write.

 

B.New kanji　新しい漢字  を   3X 書きます。

魚　　         　さかな　　Fish

肉　　         　にく　　　Meat

宿                    　しゅく　　Inn, lodging, home

C. Verb Groups – yesterday you were introduced to Group 1.  All group1 verbs have an extra “i” syllable before the “masu.” And that “i” becomes a “u” syllable in the dictionary form/plain form after you drop the “masu.”

      Group 3 verbs are irregular, they have no pattern, and there are only two of them (thank goodness!),

　　　　します　　　　　　Does, makes, etc.

　　　　　　Dictionary form する

　　　　来ます　　きます　Comes

　　　　　　Dictionary form  来る　くる

　　Examples in sentences.

　　　　宿題（しゅくだい）を　する　の　が　すき　じゃありません。I don’t like to do homework.

　　　　この　こうえん　に　来る（くる）の　が　たのしい　です。　I enjoy coming （to come） to this park.

 

D. 　下の　日本語　が　わかります　か。英語　で　書きます。

　

ともだち　は　肉（にく）を　食べる　の　が　きらい　です。

 

やまねこ　は　山　に　行く（いく）の　が　すき　です。

 

アナさん　は　せんたく　を　する　の　が　すき　じゃ　ありません。
