want-to-do You can’t use たい when talking about what other people want to do
(unless it’s a direct quote)。
Verb-stem ＋ たがる・たがります。
たとえば：
私は食べたいです。友達は食べたがっています。
I want to
eat. The friend wants/is wanting to eat.
さんぽしたいですか。先生はさんぽしたがっています。Do you want to take a walk？ The
teacher wants/is wanting to take a walk.
