Nakama Chapter 8 – Department Store Project

Project, due  来週の 火曜日：

Students must create a colorful floor plan of the

ゼファー ・デパート　department store,, with names of departments and illustrations of things sold there。
Base the store floor plan on the floor plans on pages 244 and 248 of Nakama

Project Requirements: 

1.   The paper students use must be larger than 8 and ½ inches by 11 inches

2.   The paper must be unlined and white.

3.   Illustrations must be in color as well as black and white.

4.   Each floor must include the number, the name of the department, and 4 items (labeled in 日本語) that are sold there.  (Use the floor plans on pages 244 and 248 of Nakama.)

5.   All floors, from basement to 7^th floor and roof, must be included

6.   Prices of all items, in yen　円, written in漢字 kanji, must be listed on the back of the illustration .

Look at page 248 in なかま　だい８か。　Notice the names and contents of various locations in the デパート。　Then turn to page 254．Read the numbers at the top of the page.  Then write out the arithmetic problems in C, at the bottom of the page.  Then, with a partner, practice pronouncing the large numbers in  B.  I will call on you afterwards to pronounce them for the class.
