2. Write a 4 paragraph summary (typed, double-spaced, name and number in upper right hand corner, 12 point type) of the article about　こども　の　日　 Children's Day that you will receive from 先生.


3. Find one more online article about こども　の　日　Children's Day and write that link at the bottom of the page where you write the summary.


4.  Find a photo of the helmet worn by Toyotomi Hideyoshi, one of the 3 Great Unifiers (one of the most famou shoguns) of Japan.  Print out the photo.

Kanji throw-down かんじ　の　はきだし:  Write as kanji and katakana as you can within ６ minute limit.　　Some students were able to write a lot!  Any amount, any effort is OK.



“Snake: handout:  divide into X parts and write each kanji as many times as you can within each shape.  Different kanji should be in different colors.

Go over classroom exercises (in Nakama from Friday

Work on daily actiivites for スティッチュ Stitch (character in movie, Lilo and Stitch).  Sentences like the following

Every day Stitch wakes up/gets up at home. まい日　スティッチュ　は　うち　で　おきます。
